MPI is looking for a permanent relief worker for its mill in Portneuf, Quebec.
Job Description
The holder of this position will be trained as a replacement for several different positions. This person will then fill in as a replacement when leaves or vacations are taken by other staff members. This person will also be trained for several other tasks related to the mechanical and maintenance departments and will act as a "fill-in" until a permanent position is obtained. Some of the tasks that will be performed include:
- Loading pulpers
- Moving rolls using overhead cranes
- Supervising and operating paper rewinders
- Packing rolls
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks using a forklift
- Various other related tasks.
Salary
Base salary: $44,075 with bonuses offered for evening shifts, night shifts, and Sunday shifts.
Employment Type
Permanent, Full Time (Day/Night rotation 3-2-2-3).
